Partnerships Delivering Impact

SIPR continues to strengthen collaboration across the UK through the N8 Policing Research Partnership, connecting universities and policing organisations to share expertise, develop evidence and tackle complex policing challenges together.

SIPR plays a leading role in advancing collaboration between policing and public health through the Global Law Enforcement and Public Health Association (GLEPHA). By bringing together researchers, practitioners and policymakers, this partnership supports evidence-informed approaches to complex social and public safety challenges.

SIPC2026 brought together policing leaders, researchers and practitioners from across the UK and internationally to explore the future of police academic partnerships. The conference created opportunities to share evidence, strengthen relationships and inspire future collaboration.

Working alongside the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy at George Mason University, ISSPS develops the next generation of policing researchers through expert teaching, international networking and direct engagement with policing organisations.

SPACE brings together leading Scottish universities and policing partners to address Scotland's policing priorities. Through collaborative research and knowledge exchange, the Centre supports innovation across Safety, Prevention and Analytics.
